Description
Viroshield is a broad spectrum heavy duty Defra approved disinfectant that is effective against viruses, bacteria, mycoplasma and fungi.
The unique combination of glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds (QAC) works synergistically to achieve the optimum disinfection of poultry housing.
It is active in the presence of organic matter and can be used effectively in both hard and soft water. The special foaming properties of Viroshield give not only a rapid action, but also a longer-lasting contact time than normal conventional disinfectants.
After washing and cleaning thoroughly, apply Viroshield at the required dilution rate via a pressure washer (ideally fitted with a foaming lance) covering all surfaces with an even layer of foam. Avoid excess application on vertical surfaces as this will result in a downward drift and thus reduce contact time. Alternatively, use at the required dilution rate via a power washer set at low pressure (1000 psi) with a wide angled jet.
